As Labor Day approaches and people turn their thoughts to places that would make a great fall visit, we can feel the excitement in the soon-to-be-nippy air. Many people prefer to travel when our Clued In cities are cooler. We are in complete agreement with that.

Europe is so much more pleasant when it’s cool and less crowded! Venice becomes a different place altogether… more beautiful, more festive, and more manageable. Miami Beach is already getting ready for its annual October start to its high-season; it’s hard to believe that’s only three and a half weeks away. Fall is undoubtedly the most beautiful season for New York, and let’s not even compare the hot, sticky summer weather of Barcelona or Paris to the clean, crisp air of the coming months. Airfares get lower too.
